Luminous disk seen near Sanbra

Summary

In 1971, taxi driver Joao de Souza Freire observed a luminous object around 3:30 PM in Pres. Prudente, Brazil. According to his testimony, the object had an intense glow with colors shifting between white and orange, and moved in an unusual way. Initially mistaken for a star, its motion alarmed him. The object descended toward the SANBRA factory before disappearing into the clouds. Freire, along with his wife, confirmed the sighting, though they couldn't see internal lights. This case, documented by the Grupo Ufológico de Guarujá, is part of the SIOANI archives of the Brazilian Air Force.
