Summary

In April 1964, two merchants from Presidente Prudente, Antonio Gilin and Cassio Vendramini, reported observing an unidentified flying object (UFO) moving at an astonishing speed and emitting a bright light. The object, described as oval-shaped with luminous edges, was seen near the Tenis Clube on Av. Washington Luiz. Both witnesses agreed on the time and description, stating there were no other simultaneous phenomena.

The case was documented by the Brazilian Air Force and is part of the SIOANI archives. Although no formal questionnaire from Antonio was found, Cassio confirmed seeing the UFO from another location in the city center. The description of the object and the consistency of the witnesses add credibility to the account. This document is an example of the many sightings recorded in Brazil during the 1960s, when UFOs were a topic of public and scientific interest.
