🇪🇸 Ejército del Aire
On the night of November 24, 1974, in the Canary Islands, multiple sightings of unidentified flying objects were recorded. A civilian observer saw a luminous point with a trail, while a commercial aircraft reported a mysterious light in the sky. The Air Surveillance Squadron recorded a radar echo that disappeared mysteriously. Despite numerous testimonies and technical data, the phenomenon could not be identified. The reports concluded that there was no conclusive evidence of a physical object, although they left open the possibility of future investigations.
The testimonies of witnesses, combined with radar and meteorological records, generated a complex and difficult-to-explain case. The lack of agreement among testimonies and the inability to visually confirm the objects led to a cautious conclusion: the existence of a phenomenon was not ruled out, but its origin could not be determined.
