🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In October 1954, four witnesses saw a luminous circular object in the sky. The phenomenon moved from east to west and lasted only a few seconds. The French gendarmerie briefly recorded the event without providing much detail. Due to the lack of concrete information, the GEIPAN classified this as a category C case, indicating it cannot be determined with certainty if it is an unexplained phenomenon. Possible explanations such as sunlight reflections or balloons have been considered, but the case remains ambiguous.
