Late testimony of a luminous object in Remiremont (1955)

Summary

In an email sent in 2009, a witness reported seeing a circular luminous object one Sunday afternoon in the 1950s in Remiremont, Vosges. The object was estimated at about 50 metres across, hovering roughly 50 metres above the ground some 400–500 metres from the road. The exact date could not be determined, so GEIPAN arbitrarily assigned it to 1 January 1955. The witness did not respond to follow-up questions, and the case was classified as C due to lack of information.
