In April 1956, three witnesses in La Londe observed a red ball in the sky on a clear, moonless night. The phenomenon remained stationary for several minutes before moving along with the observers, eventually disappearing behind trees. Shortly after, other witnesses in Elbeuf also reported a red, round object, though their observation was very brief. Although both descriptions seem similar, it cannot be confirmed that they observed the same phenomenon.
