Summary

In July 1965, a 14-year-old boy and his 4-year-old brother witnessed something unusual while traveling by car through a lavender field between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Manosque. Around 7 or 7:30 PM, from the back of the vehicle, they saw a "large inverted plate" in a field and "children coming out of it." The testimony, recalled decades later, is brief and lacks precise details such as the exact location or real date. The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, as it could not be investigated due to the lack of information. Although it was suggested that the rising Moon might have caused an optical illusion, this does not explain the presence of the "children" observed.
