Summary

In July 1965, a 14-year-old boy and his 4-year-old brother were travelling by car through a lavender field between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and Manosque when, around 19:00–19:30, they spotted from the back seat what they described as a "large inverted tray" sitting in the field with "children coming out of it." The testimony, recalled decades later, is brief and lacks precise details about the exact location or date. GEIPAN classified it as C due to insufficient information for investigation. It was suggested the Moon near the horizon might have caused an optical illusion, though this does not account for the figures described.
