Summary

In March 1967, a driver near Mortemart, France, witnessed a strange luminous phenomenon in the sky. On the 19th at around 11:00 PM, while driving out of the village, he noticed a silent, bright object moving toward the southeast. He stopped to observe it for about ten minutes, but the changing intensity of the light made it difficult to determine its exact shape. Later, while continuing his journey, he saw a red glow at low altitude behind his car and, a few kilometers ahead, a dome-like object illuminated from within that seemed to be resting on the ground.
