In July 1970, a witness in the French region of Landes observed two unidentified flying objects. The first, a saucer-shaped craft in white or aluminum, appeared at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters. Measuring between 6 and 8 meters in diameter, it moved slowly in a zigzag pattern, emitting a beam of light from two powerful front spotlights. When the witness called for family members, they saw it disappear at high speed and silently, ascending at a 45-degree angle. A second object, a cigar-shaped craft in white or aluminum measuring about thirty meters, appeared at the same time. It moved in a straight line, with a soft, filtered light visible through thirty portholes. It also vanished, hidden by the tree canopy. Both objects came from the northeast and headed toward the southwest. The witness mentioned a newspaper article about lights at Bordeaux airport that same night. Although the testimony is old, it provides surprising details.
