In March 1959, several witnesses in Bergen, Norway, reported bright objects in the sky. According to Birger Storesund, five objects crossed the sky from north to south. The first appeared at 20:10 and took about two minutes to disappear. He described its size and appearance as similar to Soviet satellites. Five minutes later, the second object appeared, followed by three more. Storesund noted that his neighbors also saw them, but no sound was heard. Interestingly, his dog, which usually reacts to aircraft, showed no interest.
The objects were even visible through binoculars, indicating their clarity. This case, reported by the conservative newspaper Aftenposten, adds another account to the history of UFO sightings. Although not identified as known objects, their description and behavior sparked curiosity and debate at the time.
