Summary

In April 1976, a witness in Lot-et-Garonne observed a cigar-shaped luminous object that landed near his home. The light was intense and directed in one direction, with no noise. Months later, in May, the same witness saw two bright objects in the same area. This time, he woke up his family, who observed the phenomenon for over an hour without being able to identify its exact shape. One witness found marks on the road that seemed to indicate a landing. In June, the witness noticed a strong light near his property and decided to report the incidents. However, the gendarmerie could not confirm the first two sightings due to the delayed report. The landowner claimed the light in June was from a wood fire used for grilling.
