In April 1976, a couple walking in the Dordogne countryside heard a loud rush of air and saw two green luminous discs appear roughly 300 metres away. The objects descended rapidly and vanished, triggering a violent gust of wind and unexpected snowfall. The phenomenon repeated twice more, and other locals reported television interference. After investigation, the gendarmerie suggested it could have been an electromagnetic phenomenon linked to local weather conditions.
