On July 2, 1976, around 10:15 PM, a couple in Choleto, Maine-et-Loire, observed three luminous spheres moving in a west-northeast direction for a few seconds. The phenomenon occurred at a distance of about 500 meters and quickly disappeared over the horizon. No further information was collected about this event, making it difficult to analyze further.
