Summary

In July 1976, several witnesses in the Lot-et-Garonne region reported luminous phenomena and electrical disturbances. One described a flickering green ball streaking across the sky at high speed and leaving a red trail. At the same time, television interference and a fire in an electrical meter were recorded. However, the various testimonies did not align and lacked coherence. The gendarmerie collected multiple versions of events but was unable to piece together a unified account. GEIPAN classified the case as C.
