Summary

In July 1976, in the Lot-et-Garonne region, several witnesses reported luminous and electrical phenomena that caught their attention. One of them saw a rapidly moving green glowing ball in the sky, leaving a red trail. Additionally, TV reception disturbances and an electrical meter fire were recorded. Although there were multiple testimonies, they lacked consistency and clarity, leading the GEIPAN to classify the case as category C. The gendarmerie investigation gathered several different accounts, but no clear narrative of the event could be established.
