🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On July 30, 1976, at around 14:51, a witness in Chirens (Isère) observed a spherical, metallic object hovering silently in the sky. The object remained visible for three minutes before disappearing toward the east. Despite the uniqueness of the testimony, no other reports or additional information were collected about this phenomenon. The lack of data prevents a more precise classification, though it was categorized as case C by the GEIPAN. This brief but intriguing case remains unsolved.
