Object with light beams over Locminé

Summary

On the night of October 19, 1976, a family driving near Locminé spotted an object with beams of light at each end. The beams pointed toward the ground, then switched off before the object moved east and vanished. Around 23:30, a local resident reported TV interference but did not see the object. Inquiries to meteorology, radar, EDF, and purification stations yielded no useful information. GEIPAN classified the case as C, with no satisfactory explanation found.
