Bright red-orange ball over Gondrecourt-le-Château

Summary

Between 18:30 and 18:45 on October 21, 1976, three people at different locations in Gondrecourt-le-Château saw an intensely bright red-orange luminous ball. It moved slowly from southeast to northwest for about 45 seconds before vanishing abruptly. Shortly after, an identical phenomenon appeared to follow the same trajectory. Due to the lack of further information, GEIPAN classified the case as C.
