In the village of San Martín Valdeiglesias, a spherical object was observed for a considerable time before disappearing toward the west. These accounts reached Greek and French newspapers, and although not officially evaluated, they generated public interest at the time.

In Greece, a rocket-shaped object was reported hovering in the sky for several minutes before vanishing. Near Casablanca in French Morocco, shepherds described a colorful object moving at high speed.
