UFO seen by military in Meyronnes 1976

Summary

In December 1976, French military personnel in Meyronnes spotted several round objects in the sky. The objects moved slowly and silently from the southeast to the northwest. The witnesses did not recognize the objects, and the phenomenon lasted only a few seconds. Interestingly, around the same time, a canine unit noted that their 10 dogs were howling unusually, as if frightened. An additional witness recalled seeing a red light weeks earlier, rising from the mountain slopes before disappearing behind a peak. Following the reports, surveillance was set up from December 12 to 30, but no further sightings were recorded.
