On April 29, 1977, two people in Angers observed for over an hour a cigar-shaped object emitting colored lights moving parallel to the Maine River. Despite the long observation time, the testimonies remain brief and lack detailed information. A third witness, interviewed by the gendarmerie, described a red ball with a "tail" moving from northeast to southwest, which eventually "faded out." The hypothesis of atmospheric re-entry could not be confirmed due to a lack of data.
