In May 1977, a student in Ardèche noticed a luminous phenomenon at 3 am. She saw a yellow ball moving slowly without making any noise. The next day, another witness checked the location and saw the Moon exactly where she had indicated. Researchers concluded it was likely an astronomical observation of the Moon. This case was classified as non-UFO by the GEIPAN, indicating no unexplained elements.
