🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
In July 1977, a driver and her daughter were traveling along the D670 between Saint-André-de-Cubzac and Libourne (Gironde) when they observed a saucer-shaped object surrounded by a faint yellowish halo. It moved slowly, spinning on its axis, appeared to approach their car, then climbed and vanished toward Bordeaux. The sole source is a letter from the witness. Despite efforts to locate other observers, none were found. Classified C by GEIPAN, the report remains an isolated, unverifiable sighting.
