Pyramid-shaped luminous objects over Arbresle

Summary

In the early hours of July 27, 1977, a family in Arbresle (Rhône) observed three pyramid-shaped objects with rounded tops in the sky. The objects emitted white and colored lights of varying intensity, vanished silently within seconds, then reappeared roughly an hour later before disappearing into the clouds for good. Gendarmes found no physical evidence and no other witnesses came forward. GEIPAN classified the case as C, unable to confirm or rule out the nature of the phenomenon.
