Elongated luminous shape over Les Lilas

Summary

At 11:00 PM on August 12, 1977, a witness in Les Lilas (Seine-Saint-Denis) saw a thin, elongated, very bright shape hovering motionless in the sky. Seconds later it shot away at high speed toward the southwest. No other testimony or additional data was collected. GEIPAN classified the case as C due to insufficient information.
