During the summer of 1977, a witness recalls observing a luminous object in the night sky above Pouzauges, in the Vendée region. The object was initially stationary but then moved at irregular speeds, changing direction unexpectedly. It finally disappeared quickly towards the west. The witness does not remember the exact date, only that it happened between June and August. No other testimonies were recorded for this phenomenon, making any current investigation difficult or even impossible. The lack of information prevents a deeper analysis.
The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, suggesting that no clear explanation could be reached. Although the testimony is recent (2009), the available information is limited. Cases like this, with isolated testimonies and no physical or photographic evidence, are hard to evaluate. Nevertheless, they remain interesting for researchers studying unidentified aerial phenomena.
