Reddish sphere with descending path over Conflans-Sainte-Honorine

Summary

On September 5, 1977, three people watched a reddish luminous sphere over Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines) for several minutes. The object hovered or drifted slowly in various directions before descending and disappearing. No ground traces were found. Although a general northeast-to-west trajectory was noted, the lack of precise details prevented any hypothesis from being validated. GEIPAN classified the case as C due to insufficient information.
