On September 5, 1977, three people observed a red-orange glowing ball in the sky over Conflans-Sainte-Honorine for several minutes. According to the witnesses, the object remained stationary or moved slowly from side to side and up and down before descending and disappearing. No ground traces were found in the area. Although the phenomenon is described as moving from northeast to west, there were not enough precise details to validate any specific hypothesis. Due to the lack of information, the case was classified as C by the GEIPAN.
