Repeated luminous phenomena in Saint-Porchaire

Summary

On October 9, 1977, several witnesses — including gendarmes — watched a multicolored luminous phenomenon over Saint-Porchaire (Charente-Maritime) for more than three hours. That same evening at 9:00 PM, another observer described two symmetrical beams of very bright white light. Three days later, on October 12 at 7:45 PM, a new testimony reported a phenomenon lighting up the surroundings with firework-like colors. The gendarmerie found no link between the sightings, and the limited information prevents a conclusive assessment.
