Summary

On October 18, 1977, at 00:24, a witness in the Cantal observed a luminous point in the sky for four minutes. The object approached, made a wide curve while losing altitude, and hovered over a hill. The witness reported seeing a dark mass with a porthole emitting bright blue and orange light. Ten seconds later, the object vanished suddenly. Despite the gendarmerie investigation, no other testimonies were collected. This case, classified as C by the GEIPAN, remains an unsolved mystery.
