In the early hours of 16 October 1977 a driver and passenger spotted a circular object high in the sky, moving swiftly from west to east along a curved trajectory before disappearing behind vegetation. No vehicle interference occurred and no other witnesses came forward. Both observers gave a fully consistent description.
