Rounded luminous shape in Bourail, New Caledonia

Summary

At around 18:30 on 21 October 1977, two people in New Caledonia observed a rounded luminous shape moving horizontally eastward. It quickly disappeared into the clouds without producing any sound. The lack of additional witnesses or concrete data left the case unresolved. GEIPAN classified it as C, indicating that no conventional explanation could be offered with the available information.
