Luminous ball undetected by radar over Saint-Sébastien-de-Morsent

Summary

On 4 November 1977 at 18:15, a witness in Saint-Sébastien-de-Morsent (Eure) saw a luminous ball crossing the sky from southwest to northeast. Neither the weather station nor the radar at Évreux air base 105 recorded anything unusual. The regional press mentioned two other observers, but details of their accounts were never obtained.
