Summary

On November 10, 1977, at 7:15 AM, two people from their home in Chenove, in the Côte-d'Or region of France, observed a stationary bright point in the sky. The object caught their attention due to its unusual behavior. At 7:35 AM, the object began to move, revealing a smooth, elongated, grayish shape followed by a quickly dissipating trail. Its speed increased dramatically, and the object disappeared behind a hill at 7:40 AM. No sound was heard throughout the entire observation.

Despite the duration of the event, neither the air base control tower nor the Dijon-Longvic weather station recorded any particular observations. Visibility conditions at that time were quite poor. An additional witness was located, but no further relevant information was provided. According to the serious description given by the main witness, it is speculated that the observed object could have been a weather balloon. However, the silent and rapid nature of the object leaves some mystery around this case.
