Chenove 1977 mysterious aerial observation

Summary

On November 10, 1977, at 7:15 AM, two people from their home in Chenove, in the Côte-d'Or region of France, observed a stationary bright point in the sky. The object caught their attention due to its unusual behavior. At 7:35 AM, the object began to move, revealing a smooth, elongated, grayish shape followed by a quickly dissipating trail. Its speed increased dramatically, and the object disappeared behind a hill at 7:40 AM. No sound was heard throughout the entire observation.

Despite the duration of the event, neither the air base control tower nor the Dijon-Longvic weather station recorded any particular observations. Visibility conditions at that time were quite poor.
