🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On December 13, 1977, between 7:00 and 7:30 PM, several witnesses in different parts of France observed a circular luminous phenomenon moving rapidly from east to west, leaving a trail behind. Most observations lasted only a few seconds and no unusual noise was reported. Although witnesses could not identify the object, the descriptions align with those of an atmospheric entry. This case, classified as B by the GEIPAN, suggests a natural explanation, but remains interesting due to the number of witnesses and the consistency of the reports.
