Ground-level lights chase a moped rider in Guébling

Summary

At 4:50 a.m. on 7 January 1978, a moped rider in Guébling (Moselle) noticed three very bright lights close to the ground. One, exceptionally intense, broke away and followed the witness to the edge of the neighbouring village before vanishing. No sound was heard. The helicopter hypothesis was ruled out — no flights took place in the area that night. The case remains unexplained.
