In March 1978, two witnesses in Phalsbourg (France) observed two superimposed red points in the sky towards the southeast. The phenomenon lasted two minutes before suddenly disappearing. A second point, this time white and bright, appeared a few seconds later and quickly moved towards the northeast. Another witness reported a luminous point in the sky, but the timing did not match the first observation. The lack of additional testimonies and limited data restricts the understanding of this case, classified as "C" by GEIPAN.
