Fast bright sphere over Aiguilles

On 16 May 1978 at 21:15, two people in Aiguilles saw a sphere moving quickly north-northwest and emitting very bright light. No other witnesses or records emerged. GEIPAN investigators considered it likely a high-altitude airborne object illuminated by the sun, a phenomenon that can produce sudden bright flashes at dusk.
