Luminous beam striking a vehicle near Landevant

Summary

Around midnight on 22 May 1978, a driver and passengers saw a very bright silvery-white sphere in the sky between Landevant and Auray. They reported that a luminous beam shot from the sphere and struck the rear left of their vehicle, yet no marks or damage were found on the car. GEIPAN classified the case as C, limited by the lack of other witnesses or evidence.
