On May 28, 1978, around 9 a.m., a witness in Bagnères-de-Bigorre observed a series of colorful halos that seemed to emanate from the rays of the rising sun. The phenomenon lasted between 6 and 10 minutes before disappearing. No other testimonies of this event were collected, making it difficult to analyze. Although it was recorded as a case of interest, it is likely that the witness saw a lenticular cloud, an atmospheric phenomenon that can resemble unidentified objects.
