🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On September 1, 1978, three members of the same family in Menton observed a red light slowly moving across the sky between Mont Saint-Michel and Mont Angel. The phenomenon lasted two to three minutes, but when the witnesses contacted the gendarmes by phone, no confirmation was made. There were no other testimonies or additional records, leaving the case without a clear explanation. The lack of information and the brief nature of the event make this one of the most enigmatic cases in the GEIPAN archives.
