Cigar-shaped object over Glay, 1978

Summary

Between 21:00 and 22:00 on September 15, 1978, a witness in the Doubs department observed from his garden a luminous object crossing the sky from west to east. At high altitude, it had a cigar shape lit by white lights and produced no sound throughout the sighting. No other testimonies or additional data were found. GEIPAN classified the case as C, with no satisfactory explanation reached.
