Summary

In the early hours of October 3, 1978, a witness riding a moped through the Ardennes saw an intense light above a forest. The object, described as a red-orange cigar surrounded by a bright green glow, hovered motionless at about 100 meters. The light was so powerful it dazzled the witness, and at the same time his moped stopped working. The object vanished abruptly with a faint hum, and the vehicle immediately restarted. Another person reported seeing something similar in the area without providing further details.
