Multi-light stationary object over the Tarn, 1978

Summary

On October 15, 1978, several witnesses driving near Labruguière (Tarn) saw two lights and a fixed red dot above the trees. Further along they spotted an object with multiple lights whose shape they could not identify. It hovered at about 150 meters, making no noise. When they stopped for a better look, the object disappeared silently and without smoke, heading west; only a red dot remained visible for a few moments. An additional witness confirmed seeing something similar at the same location and time but provided no further details.
