Summary

In December 1978, during a flight from Rome to Paris, a passenger spotted a bright, elongated object moving from right to left below the aircraft. Upon landing, the pilot recalled seeing a luminous plane at roughly the same time during twilight, traveling in the same direction and leaving a faint contrail. The consistency between both accounts strengthens the report's credibility. GEIPAN classified the case as B.
