Summary

On December 25, 1978, around 4:30 PM, three people witnessed the fall of a spherical or oval object more than one meter in diameter. The smooth and shiny object caught fire upon impact, displaying multiple colors. At the crash site, the gendarmerie found scorched soil and various fragments such as a spring, an aluminum plate, and a rolled, charred material. Although the debris clearly indicated a human-made object, its exact nature could not be determined. It is likely that the object was the result of an amateur experiment.
