Dark shapes over the Landivisiau motorway

Summary

On March 18, 1979, around 9:15 p.m., a driver and her passenger in Finistère saw a dark, fluorescent-grey fuselage-shaped figure hovering three meters above the motorway, moving slowly north in silence; they drove beneath it. Half an hour later, on the same road, the driver spotted a flat, grey metallic structure of about three square meters with a wave-like pattern. It stopped just meters from her car—no sound, no lights—despite steady rain. Although an airport was nearby, the gendarmerie found no traces and the case remains unsolved.
