In March 1979, a driver in the Haute-Garonne region observed a luminous phenomenon that changed shape and color while driving. The object seemed to follow him for 10 kilometers, stopping and accelerating suddenly. Upon arriving home, he woke his wife, who also saw it. He took photos and no unusual sounds or other witnesses were reported. The investigation concluded it was an astronomical observation of the moon under foggy conditions. In 2008, it was verified that the moon's position, along with Neptune and Antares, supported this explanation. The case was classified as A, meaning explained.
