Summary

In February 1979 several drivers in Hérault observed an object lit by three lights—one steady white, one flashing red, one flashing green—moving fast and changing direction unexpectedly. One witness reported similar sightings on several occasions between February and March. Investigators suggested a helicopter, but the GEIPAN B classification indicates the explanation could not be fully confirmed.
