Orange-slice-shaped luminous form in Charente-Maritime

Summary

In March 1979 a driver and passenger in Charente-Maritime spotted a luminous object shaped like an orange slice about 100 meters away. It had flickering lights and rows of colored dots, moved quickly southwest accompanied by a distant sound. The witnesses took photographs but never handed them over to the authorities. The absence of those images and any further data prevents a conclusive analysis.
