Orange light coinciding with a military exercise in Soulaines-Dhuys

Summary

In June 1979, several witnesses in Soulaines-Dhuys saw an orange light on the horizon that split into multiple luminous points before disappearing after about ten minutes. A nearby military camp was conducting anti-aircraft firing drills at the same time, and the witnesses themselves attributed the phenomenon to the exercise. GEIPAN classified the case as A, considering it explained.
