On 25 July 1979, around 21:30, two witnesses in Colombes saw an orange luminous dot moving slowly before stopping abruptly. Its brightness dropped sharply and it vanished instantly, leaving a white trail behind. There were no other observers or additional records.
The object's unusual behaviour aroused curiosity, but the case was never investigated beyond the initial testimonies. Isolated events like this, lacking confirmation or follow-up, are common in unidentified aerial phenomena databases and typically remain unresolved.
